My Scripture to memorize is.......

Zephaniah 3:17

"The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy. "

I am convinced that we can not have enough scripture on hand, after all that is our sword, how else can we fight. Right?

This one is one of my favorites.

Be Blessed!

DMHO

We had Denver and the Mile High Orchestra in church service today! Just how cool is that! Have you heard DHMO? They were a finalist on the TV show "The Next Great American Band". They sang a great song, " He knows your name" I am guessing its going to be on their new record because I can't find it anywhere (you know that drives me up a wall) because I love my music! So until I find "that" song, check their myspace page out, they have some cool ones on there too.

RENEW in 2009

I found this Scripture Challenge on Beth Moore's blog the other day and think this is such a great idea! She shows you a great way to do Scripture memory. I so need God's Word in my mind at all times! After all the battle is in the mind....right? So I will be making us some of these cards for our Bible Study, hopefully they will want to join me as well.

Remember Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Taco Chicken in the Crockpot

Had someone ask for the recipe for this so thought I would post it as well. Its super easy to make and super good to eat!

1lb. chicken, raw
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 container of fresh salsa
1 can black beans
1 can of corn, drained

In the crockpot, layer chicken then taco seasoning, salsa, black beans and corn. Let cook on high for about 2 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Then:
Shred the chicken and add back to the crockpot and mix everything together.

Then add:
1 8oz. cream cheese
1 cup of cheddar cheese

Stir well and cook on low until cheese is melted in well.

Serve with nachos, over rice or with tortillas.

I was blessed!

I had a birthday this past week! They are coming to fast now days...... but look what someone got me! I was SO VERY excited! I have wanted one of those willow tree nativity sets for a very long time but it seems there is always something else to spend your money on. But this week I was blessed :)
Here is hoping you have a blessed week as well!
